On behalf of our client Tabley Homes Ltd, Broadgrove provided strategic advice in a lead consultancy role for the conversion of a Listed Building and enabling development in the grounds for residential development.

Situated in open countryside within Cheshire West and Chester, the former Wild Boar Hotel had been neglected and was the subject of an Urgent Works Notice. Our client acquired the building and is seeking to restore the Listed Building and sensitively redevelop the wider site, enabling investment into the historic fabric. Working positively with the Local Planning Authority a planning and listed building consent application was prepared following positive local feedback and a well received public consultation event.

The application for residential development was submitted in Spring 2022 with a decision expected in late 2022.
