Plans submitted for major employment growth in Ribble Valley

Broadgrove have submitted a major planning application for a large scale commercial development on behalf of Ribble Valley Industrial Ltd, at Barrow Brook Business Park, Clitheroe.

The proposals comprise an Outline application for the development of land north of Ribble Valley Enterprise Park to provide up to 9,931m² of new commercial/employment floorspace.

The site is identified as a Committed Employment Site and forms part of Barrow Enterprise Site. The development of the site will support economic growth in accordance with paragraph 80 of the NPPF and will create significant employment opportunities in the local area.

Determination of the application is expected towards the end of 2021.
