Broadgrove have prepared and submitted a planning application for the redevelopment of the existing Lune Industrial Estate, Lancaster on behalf of Hurstwood Holdings.

The proposals involve a rationalisation of the accommodation within the estate with some of the buildings being retained and others being demolished to make way for the new units. The new buildings will provide an additional 14,754m² of B2/B8 floor space with a variety of units for large and small businesses. A Quad Block will provide ancillary and community uses including a nursery, a pharmacy/convenience store and a café. The proposals also include significant improvements to the public realm including improved access, formal car parking and landscaping.

Following approval of this application in Summer 2022, applications have been made to discharge planning conditions to enable a lawful start on site.
